In London and Paris
Washington and Rome
In Addis and Nairobi
In all the above cities
And in many other cities
I have either a brother
Or a sister or a mother
Or a father and a son
Or a wife and a daughter
Or a neice and a nephew
Or an uncle and a cousin
Who all ran away from war
Melted in the world over
But sharing a common pain
Calling home to somewhere
Where there is no safe home
An excellent one. I am one of your brothers from Somalia. I am in Monterey California today for a training course attended by some 15 Somalis. My currnt home is Columbus, Ohio, away from home. My real home is Mogadishu Somalia where there is no peace. I ran away from war in 1991 and I never saw my country again. I long for it and feel home-sick. I am sure that all of us in the diaspora feel the same way. W eagerly wait for stability to prevail in Somalia. Same case applies to everyone whether in Somalia or outside, but who are we waiting for? ""CIDNA UMA MAQNA CEELNA UMA QODNA!!"
Thank you for this wonderful piece brother.

I remind you that diasporas around the world revive the hope of homecoming to peace, and are the main forces of change...
Wonderful reminder, my brother, I thank and honour you.

Serial killer Ted Bundy's murders recounted from the perspective of thirty years after his execution in a Florida prison.
Brutal, compelling, with new updated facts about the case, his victims and the compulsions that drove Ted Bundy to mass murder.
