Some 400 Somali migrants in Turkey who are kept in a detention camp for five months are being fed with a piece of bread everyday to survive, nothing more nothing less. They demonstrated against the poor dieting and the overall conditions of the camp but their plea has only earned them a further repression of their voices, beatings and cutting their daily ration into half, so two persons will share a loaf. That is unfair.
With a piece of bread
Many can indeed survive
The adult can stay alive
But what about the child?
With a piece of bread
Many can indeed survive
The youth can stay alive
But what about the elders?
With a piece of bread
Many can indeed survive
The strong can stay alive
But what about the weak?
With a piece of a shout
Police can take up arms
The mouth can be silenced
But what about the heart?

However, as people undergo such kinds of problems abroad, they will definitely become better citizens when they come back home.
So... Let us suffer and enjoy the pain for a while before we realise our wrongdoing. Then we will be able to come to the conclusion that EAST WEST, HOME IS BEST. Peace will prevail after pain. We will never ever take everything for granted after these two horrible decades.

The Bible says that man cannot live on bread alone; it might fill you for a time, but you will hunger again. It's a shame how some treat those less fortunate....an eye opening, compassionate plea for change. Well done.

May God forgive them. Jesus told a story, likening himself to a prisoner, to a poor traveller; as we treat those who are defenceless and only seeking help, we treat God's messenger, and we treat God.
Please, world, listen to their cries. Please bring relief!
