If you cannot forgive then you are in trouble of living in peace with yourself and with others, of course.
Some fires get snuffed out soon
Others keep smoldering sometime
People are just like those fires
Some forget the past and forgive
While in the hearts of others
A smoke of uneasiness is trapped
Unable to let it go to live in peace
Under the dead ashes they are buried
Only to resurfce with daggers of hatred
To kill peace with a stab at the back
In their souls there is a tribal itch
Only through prayers can they scratch it
God Help Somalis
