Crops, not bombs, are what we need but our leaders know only how to make wars, so bombs are their main tools to sow seeds of despondency. They don’t know that, in the long run, they will harvest crops of tragedy. Hundreds die in somlia every week due to bombs or disease and starvation.
We don't sow them yet we reap them
We don't grow them yet harvest them
We don't manufacture them in factories
Yet they are cheaper than staple food
They are speckled all around the city
They are littered around in the streets
Sometimes they go off in the roadsides
Other times they explode in garbage pits
Time and again they kill men and women
This Morning bomb killed two children
Clearing bombs without proper planning
Is no easier a job than walking on water
With an air of misery steering in empty stomachs
The death toll shall quadruple if trend not altered

The great tragedy of our lives is that the rich think possessing weapons will keep them safe, while the poor grasp for weapons to take from the rich. Until the rich learn that safety can only come from generosity and love, and the poor also accept that love is the only way to find life, we will continue to kill, and suffer misery from it. Your couplet poem emphasises the point; well written.
Very well-expressed. I really like the point you make about bombs not having been sown by civilians, yet they are the ones reaping the bombs. You make a strong and valid point.
PI novel set in Manhattan during the 1980s when art galleries and model agencies were the two most glamorous businesses in the world. Dangerously well written.
