Rains are a blessing in Africa especially when a long dry season is over.
With fat drops getting pelted on my roof
I feel deeply comforted when rains come
I like those soft winds when rains stop
As they supply me with aroma of wet soil
Better still hope appears upon the sky
Giving me a pleasure to watch serenity
And to enjoy the beauty of the rainbow
As a soothing breeze gently touches me
Wow It's been raining a lout here in Texas
And I know about that aroma
