50 people in high mood of jubilation have been killed in Baqdad in a single bomb explosion. Their crime? oh don't ask.... they were out in the streets to celebrate for Iraq's soccer victory over Saudi Arabia. Sad indeed.
Iraq won the ball
People celebrated
But as joy soared
A bomb went off
Sucking euphoria
Into a pool of blood
Wading jubilation
Into a sea of tragedy
Averting merry laughter
Into hysterics of nutty wails
Turning the briskly scene
Into an abandoned graveyard
En-livened with the whistles
Of a ghost in its former soul
Is it a crime to rejoice victory?
Is it punishable by death?
What do these people mean?
Brother Abdi I think hell on earth isaptly symbolized by these lunatic fanatics who follow a God of evil, I don't mean Allah, I mean evil. I'm beyond saddened as I'm sucked into hatred of ALL fanatics no matter what religion they pretend to believe in. SHAME! <Mikii>
