Roses do have bright petals They also have sharp thorns With caution you must pick them As otherwise you tase a sweet prickle Love is like that. It is like a rose If you treat it well it will flourish Failing to nourish it with passion shall culminate to a painful disaster

But, without the petals and thorns, life would be bland. Likewise, love - you get the happy with the sad, otherwise it lacks beauty.
