SISTER TRUST DIES ON THE BED OF SEX PARTNERS WHO LOVE EACH OTHER BUT CANNOT TRUST EACH OTHER UNLESS THEY KILL TRUST
In all your interactions with people
There has to be an element of trust
But to trust everybody is kind of foolishness
While trusting nobody is the acme of idiocy
In today’s world the value of trust is degraded
It is truly facing a serious depreciation
In the love front TRUST is in severe shortage
And without this inevitable ingredient of trust
Love can’t potentially thrive in the garden of love
The cup of trust is full at the initial stages of love
But under the heat of fondling it starts evaporating
Each one would think of avoiding contracting STD
Like two lifeless lumps their bodies keep intertwined
Until the idea of using a condom dawns on them
The trust of not trusting anybody shines in them
While stabbing TRUST with the dagger of distrust
Lust does not equal love, hence, "distrust" (caution) is necessary to one's well-being.
There's a lot in this poem. It should be sent to all the AIDS and other free clinics and posted for all to read. Perhaps, it will save a life or two or three or more.
As a medic in the Army, it was one of my morning routines to give Pennicillin to soldiers who had contracted Gonorrhrea.
Invariably when I asked each one why they didn't use a condom, the answer was....But Doc, she looked so nice. Nowadays just a shot or two of Pennicillin won't do it, but still....
Go figure.
