I am impressed by the abundance of peace here in Sweden.
Peace is what I lacked back home
Sweden is where it stays in excess
I should ferry some of it to Somalia
Not with buses, ships or aircrafts
But with the power of my Pen of Peace
What was destroyed with warlord bullets
Shall be re-built with the ink of the poets
This is the advantage of giving peace poets a chance to think and reflect, compare and contrast, observe and write.
Somalia is going deeper into destruction, insecurity and underdevelopment of unprecedented scales.
Please keep writing brother. Your wisdom will one day have an impact.

Masha Allah,this peom really touched my heart and couldn't take my eyes away from the PC.This must be wonderful experiance for you AbdiNoor particularly, and the ones back home home like me.But the big question is: Yaa wax maqlaaya hee?.I like you Abdinuur,I have to appreciate that we have at least some one like you in our Somali society.
"The pen is mightier than the sword." Your poem reflects this sentiment is a most heartfelt way. I know your poetry will instill others to recover what is theirs through peaceful ways.

Like Walt said my dear Abdi, and will add, there's a time for war and there's a peace for peace, Somalia will reach peace and when it does all the refugees will return to a dry country to make of it again the oasis among sifting sands that God intended it to be.
