Today a French luxury yacht has been saved from somali pirates who, in the unsafe Somali waters, not only hijack yachts of this type but also attack vessels carrying humanitarian supplies such as food and medical equipment destined to Mogadishu and other somali port towns to feed displaced people starving in the camp. It is a paradox when people should be saved from their own people.

In the old days they were summarily hang from one of the ship's yards on capture. Today, the name of the game is leniency, so they can do it again and our conscience can sleep well without thinking about the pirates next victims.

I fear that "people should be saved from their own people" says it all, in a world of brigands and power-crazed regimes which cannot or will not protect their own people. I wish all of the people could be rescued from this.
Sad when people try to keep those who need the most help from getting it! I hope those who need help get it and those who are blocking the help get arrested/punished with the severest form of the law! There's no need for this nonsense!
