Freedom is not something someone should offer you. It is something you should pay its price: blood. If you have it preserve it with the rule of law. Do not take it for granted. Someone has died for it to let you live in freedom and you should be ready to offer the same price for the sake of those coming behind you in the near future. If you lack it then you have to fight for it.
In the course of struggle for freedom
We all encounter with many difficulties
But we shouldn´t be swayed from our cause
Nor should our spirits get diminished
The weak gets drenched in a lake of fear
While the brave stands against all odds
Showing courage in the face of danger
Avoiding stumbling over the rocks of hatred
As he turns them into blocks of love upon which he builds
I could feel the Natzis being cruel to the Jews/Camps all over again
and seeing their hope and love still shining in their hearts!

The price of freedom is beyond measure...ask the souls of those who have given their souls to the cause of it's continuance...sacrifice is taking place as we clock the moments even as we write as hope for that day when it will ring ...forever...
A strong reminder about the cost of freedom. Though many of us may not fight the fight, we do value those who do. I, for one, do not take my freedom for granted. I pray for those fighting now, and I'm grateful to those who fought in the past. Hopefully everyone who doesn't fight the fight feels this way. A powerful poem!
