As an asylum seeker in Sweden I am waiting for a response from the authorities to get the papers. Waiting has some degree of anxiety and that had put my pen in a temporary hibernation. Now it is back with this short poem to warm up itself. I sometimes use writing as a way of beating stress.
When you wait for a word of hope
And only silence speaks with you
You feel like being left in the cold
But when you stand at the window
Your eyes spot on a grey weather
As the leaves fall on a damp soil
While trees stand in dignity, Suffering
Licking their wounds
With the tongues of autumn winds
My muse has been affected same way
But with lessons learned from nature
I nursed my muse perfectly well
My poetry clock has started ticking
Happy to be back after a long hiatus

When the wise old Sioux sees Autumn coming he don't waste his arrows on the wind carrying the wind, he sits patiently and waits for the sky to decide in its good time to send the snow.
A man waiting for a piece of paper should do the same and not shot arrows of despair to the wind bearing bureaucracy.

Be of good cheer, Eagle. I am glad your muse is awake and well. Our prayers are with you.
Hello Abdi,
I surely have missed your energy here on the den. You are a breath of fresh air do you know that? I too have embraced the autumn season. It is full of change and beautiful colors. Soon everything will be bare and the coldness of winter will seep into all of our lives. Let us pray for renewal and strength to prepare us for a long cold winter ahead.
I wish you all the peace, love, and light the Universe has to offer,

Abdi-Noor, may I welcome you and your awakened Muse back into the folds of the Den -- until the words you seek arrive safely at your door -- keep sharing your inspiring works with us -- peace to you my friend -- JMW
Abdi Noor, your poetry is first rate, and so inspired, that we all can learn from you! I'm so glad you are back to writing your gems.
I still keep you, your country, and family in prayer!
Have wondered where you've been, (((Abdi-Noor))), you're missed! Pray your papers come through with no problems and that you AND your family be granted sanctuary. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Hello Back, my friend. And nature usually provides a wonderful muse.
A man waiting for a piece of paper should do the same and not shot arrows of despair to the wind bearing bureaucracy.
