Without Justice there will be no peace in Somalia. Terrorists and Ethiopian surrogates will keep fighting till last drop and we Somalis will melt in other communities as our history and culture will evaporate in the sizzling heat of these senseless wars. 50 years later you will find us roaming in the streets of the west with a beautiful name dubbed on us: The African Gypsies. Sorry to say so but it is a prediction that can possibly become true if the mechanics of opposing political and religious forces in Somalia, which are colliding in the background of international neglect, are seriously studied.

You Somali warlords
You insurgents, bombers
You warlord-turned ministers
You extremists and terrorists
You have killed enough
Caused pain more than enough
You are substances of terror
Time has now come to talk
To confide with you a little
And to give you a last warning
We are the people of Somalia
We are the hope of the nation
Handover peace unconditionally
It can no more a hostage of yours
We are not declaring war with you
We are not driving you in the bush
We instead have a noble idea for you
We offer a lucrative ransom payment
We send you to the free world
Holland will be your destination
ICC officials will meet you at the aiport
They welcome you, treat you humanely
Not as beastly as you did to us
There is no reason to try Al-Bashir
While you are enjoying your killings
He only washed blood in his hands
But you have waded in a river of crime
You are the sharks of a bloody ocean
Al-Bashir had bitten a chunk of Sudan
But had witnessed such a bitter choke
How can you swallow a whole nation
And yet go away with it unpunished
Is Darfur more important than Somalia?

It is an age old story, Abdi Noor, and sadly it never changes. The world will one day be melted into one group, one philosophy and one way. We will lose our diversity and cultures, life will be boring and without true enrichment. The horrible situations in Somalia are heartbreaking to those of us who learn about them from afar. I cannot begin to imagine how it must feel living there and watching people from other countries rapeing your homeland. I keep you and your family in my prayers. It is a little thing but I hope in doing so that you and your family will remain safe.

Oh my friend, your pain in this write is so unbearable, I want to go over there myself as others I'm sure do. You call them human but if they are what are we. NO my friend they lost their humanity and that is why they feel they can destroy others. My heart hurts reading this and hurts more when I know who wrote it. It is so difficult for us to fathom or comprehend the atrocities suffered by the warlords and those on killing sprees for varied tour de force who lead aggressive factions against innocent citizens of any land.
I enjoy your writing; however, how do we say this without minimizing the topic?
It is one of those situations where I believe each of us would wave a magic wand and stop the violence and death if only we could do so.
No suffering nation is more important than the next.
Perhaps if we could have an international group of governments that, having a strong leader, say enough is enough to those corporations thriving in the weapons industry, or medicines out of reach of the 90% of the world population.
Cut the head of Mammon once and for all.
But we see what have happened in the US, where greedy banks send the national economy down the toilet after squander the money of everyone else, but their own safely in Bahamas, Zurich and few other places.
It would seem so, Abdi-Noor, it would seem so. Shame, when one human being takes precedence over another, when the situation is worse than the previous ... powerfully penned question with no clear cut answer: well done.
