If a thirteen year old girl is found having sex with someone it is the man who should be brought to justice for defiling a minor. But in Somalia we have seen it the other way round. Islamic extremists stoned the girl to death without even making any police investigation and without any defense or lawyer or any court verdict. Her name was Fadumo Dhuxulow. She was only Thirteen. The image of Islam is being tarnished in a most horrendous way by radical groups implicated to have links with A-Qaeda. The act has infuriated all the Somalis in and outside the country and I was inspired by Hamdi Abdulle in Seatle, USA who wrote several lines of poetry to me which are now incorporated with the rest of the poem.
Devils of terror
Why have you stoned a kid to death?
Why have you made the angels cry?
Why have you shattered our hearts?

In the hole of horror you threw her
You have hurled at her with stones
What has the girl done wrong?

Have you investigated the sex case?
Have you found the four witnesses?
Has she been in the middle of the act?
With whom has the girl made sex?
The air, the wind the water... who?
Why can´t we know the man, too?
Or the case will backfire if investigated?

Now look at me straight in the eye
Has she done it with one of you?
Is that why you have rushed with the stones?

You can delete a file from the internet
But in the book of Allah your actions remain undeleted

You have derailed the islamic train
You have misinterpreted our religion
Ask forgiveness to Allah and to Fadumo
Or else reap the fruits you have sown
I fear the Islamic traditions of peace and harmony have been blinded by Holy Hatred. I am sure many Muslims are "normal" people who are just trying to love the way they were meant to, but the zealots are besmerching the name, causing hate and mistrust of all.

Abdi-Noor, how has the beauty and love for God in Islam been poisoned by the extremists? How has hate replaced any sense of love?
"Let anyone who is without sin cast the first stone." Before God, this girl's soul is with God, while her murderers will never see God.
Islam has been poisoned. Can Muslim, Jew, Christian ever walk together? Can love overcome hate in this world?
Hate generate more hate, the world has lost all respect for Islam as a religion and as a philosophy because few extremists have kidnapped it and one billion of muslims never put a stop to the derranged mullahs and ayatholas that dayli are draggin the name of Allah in the mud of their personal bestiality that don't have anything with Islam to do.
Why muslims accept them without protest?
So, muslims shouldn't blame the world for despising the muslim silent majority.
The reason they do that, Abdi-Noor, is because in many cultures women have no rights. They are property, to be disposed of as men wish. Man can go play around, have sex before marriage, but if a woman (child) does, oh, no, they're automatically the one at fault and must be punished for their transgression, because she tempted man. Shame: the double standard must end.
A strong, heartbreaking write ... my prayers for that girl's family and for you and yours. May your little girls never find themselves in this situation.
The stoning to death was so inhumane and barbaric!!! People judging others without first finding the facts. Some parts of the world call it "Honored" death.
But to be born and then be killed by ones parents and sibblings - no matter what you call it it is still murder!!! If baby has a choice to whether be born or not, I'm sure some won't even wish to be born!!!!!
Women from poor village in India suffer from parental abuse, spousal abuse, in-laws abuse. Some women were only born to suffer!!!
When I watched the video on how the young men and the girl were wrapped like mummies, placed into holes on the ground, and being stoned by the pigheaded judgmental people who said they have sinned without even first finding the facts. They only go by their own bibles to say that others have sinned. They don't care if they carry out murders. Of course, they don't see their own sins, because they think they have the "legal" right to murder. They murder another HUMAN BEING ignorantly without first finding the facts. They just point fingers and say you have sinned as if they are gods themselves!!!! What a horrible way to for the teens to die!!!
Why do parents murder children after they are born? Why do they abuse them? Why do they let them be abused? Why don't they protect them? Why do they allow their children to be publicly murdered?
I'm feeling sick to my stomach from watching that video!!! I kept imagining the terrors that was going through the young people mind. So so very sad!!!
This practice of punishment is inhumane and barbaric, and should have been banned a long time ago!!!!
