I have no stomach to watch TV these days. Horror explodes on your face soon as you switch it on.

How so sadly true. We humans must thrive on horror, and it seems we never learn another way.

God against Allah? is that something that make sense?

And to Hamas, blockade? with the money you used to buy those rockets they could have build a port and be independent of West Bank and everybody else, with the money you used to buy weapons you could have had the best hospitals, schools, clean water, electricity, sewer system, sea water desalination, roads and not less, a kibbutz copy to feed your people with vegetables and fruit, having a sport merchandise, but what you do? use the anhilation of your own people to gain a few heads nod of approval.
If that is what the teachs of Islam preaches...I am glad I am not a muslim, because my own conscience would have forced me to fall on my sword after making such a mockery of Allah Laws.

Oh, Abdi-Noor, the pain of injustice tears at me; Israel's blockade/siege of Gaza stripped its people of dignity and hope, Hamas thinking its rockets will scare Israel into retaliation, Israel retaliating and killing goes on and on......

Will things change? Will Lebanese militia retaliate and kill Israelis? Will Syria break its accord and send in trained insurgents?

How many more have to die; all deaths rob us of our humanity.

I have not forgotten Palestine. I cannot help with peace efforts when both sides are killing each other. God bring a stop to the killing so Gaza can have hope.

it is unfortunate that peace cannot seem to prevail -- in the three years since Israel gave Gaza up -- 10,000 Hamas rockets have been sent into Israel to terrorize, kill and mame innocent civilians -- sooner or later you had to know that Israel must defend herself or prepare to perish -- my heart is filled with sorrow -- innocent people have died -- Hamas launches rockets now in the true style of terrorist -- from the inside of a UN school filled with innocent children -- terroristic tactics speak of great cowardice and condemn themselves -- by seeking at any human costs to gain the press advantage - while the innocents still suffer -- terrorism will never gain an advantage among men with hearts filled with love and compassion -- what would we do,if Hamas sent 10,000 rockets into Washington, D.C. over a three year period? -- may peace and love find the magic light to guide mankind away from militant actions forever -- JMW

Greatly enjoyed this poetic editorial. It's astonishing that in 2009 humans anywhere still believe in the violence of war as a solution to anything. But clearly they/we still do.
