Hi Friends, have missed you all.
I Have been away from the scene for quite sometime. Now I wish to inform you that I got a job as a teacher and as project leader at a kulturparken in Vaxjo. Here I wish to express how taxpaying has changed my life. thanks. Please read a related article at the article section.
Jobs are not meant only for generating income
But also for sharing some of that income
Jobs are not meant only for earning money
But also for paying out some of the money
Jobs are not meant only for pocketing coins
But also for returning coins to state coiffures
Jobs are not meant only for living a life
But also for living a life worth living
Jobs are not meant only for feeling secure
But also for enjoying basic human rights
The right to complain against bad service
Is a right we should have to exercise fully
But if you are not a taxpayer
You can hardly raise your voice
Thing is, Abdi-Noor, EVERYTHING belongs to God anyway. We are called to be faithful stewards. We bring nothing into this world, and we take nothing when we leave it. What we do in between is what matters. Do good...while you can! Excellent write!
Been doing both all my life Abdi
and I an still Broke,
Retired Broke and still paying taxes
while retired.....It never stops
One pays taxes till we die
and you still be paying taxes
They tax you on your tombstone
Your grave and its up keep
we live a life of taxes
And I am in The "GOOD OLD U.S OF A"
A as in auditing
I can go on and On
But I have to bid you Good Night
Peace be with you
Good Luck on your New Job
You present quite a unique point of view through your verses here, Adbi-Noor. I am quite sure that I understand. This is all the more reason why our "leaders" ought to be ever so careful as to how they use what people like you and I entrust to them. Thank you for sharing this thought-provoking write, my friend. Congratulations on your teaching assignment, welcome back, and may the new year be a blessed one for you. Love and peace,
Regis
