My pen is my treasure
I hold it as my heritage
It is the glare of my memory
I inherited it from my father
In war time it is my weapon
I employ it against my enemy
In peace time it is my love
I romance with it in my dreams
In loneliness it is my companion
It shelters me from winds of boredom
