I have met these girls in Minneapolis. They are Somali-Americans with a fire of hope glowing in their hearts, aiming to make a change in their war-torn nation. They need our collective help and the best way to help them is to give our youth in the Diaspora a chance. Minneapolis has already given them knowledge to build a future for themselves and for their war-shattered country of Somalia and of-course for the world in general.

Somalis are indeed a beautiful people. I hope these young ones are able to move forward and someday help your country rebuild. I was fortunate to have a tenant that came from Liberia. She spent some time with her father in Minneapolis, but is here in Houston working in healthcare after catching up on her education because she lost six years running in Sierra Leone as a child.
