14 peace talks ended in failure over the past 14 years of war in Somalia. the 15th Conference which was being held in Nairobi is at the brink of collapse after some warlords who actually signed the agreement called it as null and void. Fear already started to creep upon our minds as renewed clashes may possibly take place if the demands of the warlords are not dealt with.
He is a Warlord
He attacks like a wasp
He puts the sun behind a cloud
brings darkness in a broad daylight
Blocks avenues of hope
Enjoys more as he fights more
Laughs more as he destroys more
Hand in Hand he goes with his henchmen
Men of disaster and destruction
Many a child he did make an orphan
Many a women mourned and mourned
Penitence is nowhere in his book
He is the tree of terror
He grows with the blood of the innocent
He bears fruits of depair
to poison us all

So sad the shallowness of some people who cannot see beyond their own greed and lust for power. It's nice to see poems like this written from the other side of the coin
A briliant write describing the horror you and your countrymen must endure. I'm still praying and hoping things will be more stable soon.
