we each step outside our fears facing our beliefs with determination risking our lives by just living living our lives with suspicion always suspecting the darkness works its job without volition
standing in the colors of my heart worry, clouds over my view where I find myself staring into the dimly lit unknown as if I could concentrate into being what can't be seen, before it’s been shown
tomorrow is THE memory some have already forgotten tomorrow is a date we must never forget so tomorrow I will rise, up into the sky shed a tear for the dead yes tomorrow I will fly
and as the storms rage around me and life begets life I will peer down onto earth without worry, nor sadness for the winners always win and the losers have already lost.
We will eventually die, and our children born after, will not have a memory to forget. Fortunately, we now have ways to chronicle history in real time, like a perfect memory. Winners do not always win, but the species continues and is too successful. Let us hope that the good members outweigh the bad.
We have won because America still stands today! May we never forget, and I like what Jerry Bolton had to say!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :( >tears <
(That picture still sends shudders up and down my spine! God bless those who were affected by this monumental tragedy, and may we never forget! God bless America again!!)
kathy has said it best, as she is wont to do. I'll add this. The day that the twin towers and the pentagon and the plane in Pennsylvannia were taken over by madmen has sealed the fanatical's fate. It may not look like it right now, but they are doomed.

I know something Ossama doesn't seem to get: you cannot win when driven purely by hatred... it's physiologically and psychologically impossible and is true in every type of situation. Sara, I found great hope in your poem and I welcomed it.. my head AND my heart thank you. 'life begets life' is the line: my brother just had his first baby and I just realized, reading that line, that not once did I think that she's being born into a bad world or has horror in her future. That's why we will WIN! Wonderful piece. katy xox.

the "losers have already lost" Brilliant!
Let us send our condolences
and our heartfelt prayers to
the victims and their families;
Let us weep the tears
on their behalf
when all of theirs have run dried.
Let us open our hearts
to receive all their grieves
and their sorrows.
Let all our prayers be heard!
