Snuba and scuba
Both rhyme with Aruba
And they are about the only sane places to be
On the island of Aruba in the Caribbean Sea
An island so far south that it never gets hurricanes
Hahahahaha, too bad the winds blow constantly on the glass panes
Gale force winds all day, all night
Hold the pillow over my head tight
Whistling air nearly drove us insane
Keeping the sand out of my mango daiquiris was really a pain
Winds continuously blowing so so strong
My curly hair straightened out and became long
Forget reading on the beach
Only if you like spitting sand out of your teeth
Even diving was a chore
Currents pulling you away from shore
Swim harder, harder, harder still
Muscles all achy now, help give me a pill
Visibility was at best only about 20 feet
But the wreck of Antilla is 100 feet deep
Jumped off the catamaran anyway
Palm Pleasure she was called on that sunny day
Seconds later the current ripped off my mask
Leaving me with just the silcone strap in my grasp
Hold onto to the rope, the ladder, anything
Who the hell picked this island vacation ding a ling ling
Oh it was me
My annual call to the sea
Next time I want an ocean vacation
I’ll be checking the wind velocity of that island nation
