I woke up this morning

To the sensation of you

Laying next to me

I was on my side

And you were spooning me

Our arms were entwined

A hand cupping one breast

I inched my way in closer to you

Squeezing out the space between us

With your hot breath on my neck

I could feel you waking up

Pulling me in tighter still

You said my name

And gently kissed my neck

“Good morning my love”

We whispered simultaneously

Greeting our lives

With our loving hearts

And holding each other

In a warm embrace
