Wow! Sara, you have layers here as plentiful and as delicate as a fine pastry... and in between each layer is a glimpse of you, the poet, the person, plus a thought provoking call to the reader to truly look at this most illusive of themes. You've penned a great one here, Sara. Oh, yes! love, katy xox.

Sara, I am astonished by this poem, it is so you. The you that you seldom express to anyone else.
Notice you're a half full kinda person, yup omly imaginations put on a restriction, now you make me wanna say I'MA FREE MAM OH YES I AM, HMMM HMMM, but I won't I'll just say very uplifting unique write, really is a top drawer write..
Freedom has so many costs, and that is why we feel we must sacrifice things in order to obtain it. I like the slim style of the poem, reflecting the effect that some little words with bigger meanings have a bigger effect on us than if you were to widen the poem. Sleak and slim and the message, beautiful.
Remarkable thoughts and poem, Sara. Truly enjoyed.

Sara, this was delightfully thought provoking.
I found myself lost in the imagery of a drop sliding down the glass and then another to follow ..... I've watched this process in the past and observed that if a second drop of water follows the same path of another, it will fall at a much greater speed. Then I thought about the way water will follow the path of least resistance and what a wonderful analogy of how hoplessness will draw itself from others... A drop falling on the inside of the glass... Then the second, taking it's own course on the outside of the glass... Free, but the cost of freedom is sometimes alienation.
Who's to know if this was what was in your heart and mind when you wrote this piece! But this is where it took me!
Thanks! Enjoyed!

Hi Sara,
I only have a few minutes on this computer, but I am glad logged in.
I have wanted to write a real poem before I go home.
And there you go and beat me to the punch, that is as Irish a poem as I ever did see.
Fair play to you Lady.
Be Jasus that sure be fine piece of crack,
as good as any egg on a spit.
Big Smile.
Catch up Soon.
Mor.
In "A Touch of Your Presence" are words that would inspire, encourage and strengthen one's soul when faced with challenges and difficulties and to know the awesomeness of God's power.
