I was asked to write a poem about those things

You know, the coloring of the skin with a needle that stings

My first thought was, "I don't like em so where would I begin?"

As one of my friends put it, "Nothing's prettier than skin."

I guess it's a validation of the freedom we have

If someone wants to mark up their body they're free to do that

So I won't knock what others want to do

But it's not for me, I never want a tattoo

In my mind not even Levine

Can make a tattoo look good to me

It looks like dirt that needs to be washed clean

And what if you fall out of love with Justine?

But as I said before to each his own

I'm good without one, I'm leaving my skin alone

Have you seen what they look like when you're sixty?

I've seen it and they're not very pretty

In fact to me they're not pretty at any age

What's my next topic? I'm done with this page
