As you know, 19 random Facebook friends gave me 19 topics with which to write 19 poems and I'm doing it in 19 days. I have done research for almost all of these poems. I love to learn. Reading about memory was fascinating. Did you know that sleep deprivation can lead to false memories? My very special friend Johanna Davis suggested tonight's topic: Memories. 2 more to go and we're done folks.
Ron, nope. I had no particular person or event in mind when I wrote this. I did about an hour of research and I was fascinated by the fact that if folks are sleep deprived, memories can be skewed or events remembered falsely, and the fact that we encode and store events quite differently from person to person and depending on disease and/or mental illness. So it's possible that some of those folks that we've argued with in the past about what was done or said, have actually skewed the event or remembered things falsely and we were right...lol.
