Stop Stealing My Thoughts
© Jaimey Perham 05/27/2007

Hey you, practical joker in your suit and tie
Walking down the street, with your satellite eyes
Stopping at my home, and using your telepathic ears
To spy on me, just because you can

Stripping down the invisible walls
Breaking into my firewall mind
Extracting my data at broadband speed
Knowing my thoughts instead of my heart

I say, stop stealing my thoughts
You think you have the right to listen and judge
I don’t go around breaking the law
But you my friend will lose this war

I am starting to get sick of your propaganda
The filth you beam directly to me
You have no right to spread your hate
I’m on to your game you piece of shit

How did it start, how will it end
Who will lose, who will win
The cards are dealt, the chips are in
No more folds, no more spins

I say, stop stealing my thoughts
You think you have the right to listen and judge
I don’t go around breaking the law
But you my friend will lose this war

The ride is over, for both of us
You got all you need, from my soul
My brain is dry, empty and blank
Free of thoughts, no more strength

You could say it has been fun
But now it’s time to pack up and run
I know we will cross paths again my friend
Maybe on the other side of this strange heaven

I say, stop stealing my thoughts
You think you have the right to listen and judge
I don’t go around breaking the law
But you my friend will lose this war
