Conscious Wave

Swarm of soldier heads dancing and drinking together to the same heavy beat

Moving their bodies together with women down to their very own feet

Having a grand old time down at the local town meet

Music playing loudly from the band sending the audience an electric flash of burning heat

When they get a chance enjoying some good home cooking as they eat

Sleeping well that night in their bunk beds in the ships dungeon nice and neat

Dreaming good thoughts and pictures of love ones and friends from their past

The sailors awoke in the morning light ready to face their next battle as they left the port of the Falkland Islands fast

The Navy ship tore through the rough waters of the Scotia Sea with its flag flying proud and high from its mast

Then in the distance the enemy ship appeared through the Drake Passage and the crew heard a deafening loud blast

The silver bullet ripped a hole in the steel of the side of the ship, and fire spread wild and vast

Dying grown men could only think of their love ones from their now distant past

The crippled captain shouted orders to return fire, and attack the enemy vessel off the coast of Cape Horn

And so they did, but the return fire missed its mark and they were sitting ducks waiting worn

Then from the distance the Allies appeared in the blue sky in their shiny planes the pirate ship now torn

The flying eagles dropped their massive bombs on the enemy ship in the early morn

That enemy ship quickly sank to the bottom of the sea, and the once injured Navy vessel was now reborn

The crew stood and cheered on the deck of the ship as the captain ordered the crew to sail safe and soundly home
