Shaman Secrets

Young Native American sets forth on a vision quest in the southwest desert

Alone by choice to discover his life purpose except for a few snakes and lizards

Running barefoot through the golden yellow red sand looking and waiting for a signal

The low orange sun in the western sky is quickly setting, and darkness is approaching the land

The summer heat now turns cold as night sets in and the boy begins to get scared

The sounds of wild coyotes are heard in the distance and the moon is full and shining

All of the sudden the Indian has a vision of a wolf staring him down with eyes of death

Mouth open his teeth are white and sharp as he slowly swarms toward the kid

The Indian scared to the bone clenches his teeth and swallows unsure what to do next?

Then he remembers what his elder shaman grandfather told him when he was a young boy

He told the Indian “whenever fear comes to the surface, face it down with all your spirit energy”

At the time the young Indian boy did not understand, but know in this dire moment he does!

So the Indian took out his magical bow and arrow from his heart, and stood down the angry wolf eye to eye.

Without fear as the wolf leaped to attack the boy he shot the magical arrow into the side of the wolf

The wolf fell back injured, but not down and attempted to go at the young soldier again

The warrior reloaded and this time sent a magical arrow straight into the cold heart of the beast

The wolf released a deafening growl, and fell to the hard ground dead to the living world

The Native American jumped up into the air and screamed a shout of victory

He left the empty desert with a sense of self confidence, and returned to his reservation now a young man.
