Dragonfly
so elegantly dressed in blue
a dragonfly came into view
with gossamer wings he sailed the sky
and circled my head as I passed by
so frail and yet so lovely
he winged his way above me
gliding upon the summer breeze
he played among the willow trees
translucent winged a pure delight
he made his tireless morning flight
Streaking off towards the sky
he tipped his wings to say goodbye
