a thousand times
breathed naked beside me

with my candlelit shadow

with the way
you trace my face
with your fingertips
and search
my trembling lips
for the whisper
of your name
though we have never met
your secret desires

and take root in my soul

we should never meet
our shadows

Deborah, this is beautiful, but also so full of pain and longing. What a deep and revealing personal fantasy. Sometimes we don't understand what we say about our selves. I could cry but I won't. But it is very sentimental. Bill
