Just a little food for thought.

Have you ever felt so lonely and cold

And life just didn't seem fair?

Have you ever looked into the eyes of love

And wanted so badly to be there?

Have you ever yearned for another's touch

To be felt deep within your soul?

Have you ever thought to have this

Would never make you whole?

Have you ever lost yourself inside

Someone else's heart?

Have you ever felt your life slip away

Into many tiny parts?

Have you ever cried out in the night

To find you were alone?

Have you ever wished your life would end

So that your soul would be called home?

Have you ever felt the urge to cry

But held back all the tears?

Have you ever realized later on

Your life is consumed with fear?

Have you ever needed to search your soul

And found it cold and bare?

Have you ever realized later on

That, Yes, you really do care?

Have you ever reached the close of day

Wanting replenishment to begin?

Have you ever realized God owns your soul

And gets it in the end?
