This poem harnesses a lot of anger for me. It allows me the opportunity to say things that I can not verbalize.
Morbid Recital Both heartbeat and desire comfort the empty thoughts Unspoken not is the shared laugh found in silence Replacing sound Destructive is the soul that rages within Terror abounds inside the closed mind Shattered faith Darkness prevails when all hope has dissipated Tears fill the eyes of the saddened spirit Death looms Horrified eyes breach the interior of the heart Flooding the mind with images long past Not again Evasive thoughts of the forbidden life unknown Morbid recital repeated over and over again NO MORE!!! This is the best way to release your anger, I know, I did the same thing! Anger is so powerful and controls so many areas in our lives if it consumes us- great that you shared you emotion this way.
