These are the times of our lives
A stress filled day with smiles and strife
Laughing, crying, living, dying
Hearing voices we know are lying
Our days are filled with hidden tears
Our sleep is broken with daytime fears
Endless chatter to fill the space
We exit smiling to add some grace
No time to stop, no time to listen
Again repeating our daily mission
Offering help to those in need
Only to be halted in our steed
At day’s end we walk away
To our God we begin to pray
Asking for help for others and more
For tomorrow we repeat the chore.

Wonderful feelings. As you know working under stress leaves many of our co-workers in need. You sound like an Angel of God.
This is a book of free verse poetry that addresses the seven main tests in life and offers some sensible solutions to passing those tests with minimal discomfort.
This book represents a thirty-day period of my poetry journal. Each poem addresses
the dominant thoughts occupying my mind during the early morning hours of a given
day.
