Have mercy on me, my love!

One flower that none may pluck,
in the garden of my heart - I hold.
It sweetens my air with its perfume
and gives me the joy to live evermore.

What else is there for me to gain
after losing my heart to you?
I want to move away from the
entire world and sit close beside you.

Love, o my love, listen to me;
What is the essence of me,
without you beside me?
I beg, do not go away from me.

No one lives forever but the long
life is before me, and I am tired.
Beloved, embrace me in your arms
and sing me the lover’s lullaby.

I wish I could sleep on your lap
and open my eyes in the morning
under the halcyon roses of the skies
with your virtuous lips upon mine.

I am living without any idea of life
and like the beast I will perish
without any deliberation of death.
Have mercy on me, my love!

I have poured too much of you into me –
this is my message to your core.
Oh! Just a misspelled word in the dictionary
of life I am, without you, my beloved!

Dear Bhuwan,

What tremendous love and passion you express in this gem. May she embrace you in her arms and sing to you the lovers lullaby. You could never be a misspelled word in the dictionary of life, for you have so much to give, and soon she will be with you to embrace you.

take care and God bless.

warm hugs

Bhuwan, as always the beauty of your heart shines through. She is one very lucky lady to have captured your heart so profoundly.

"Oh! Just a misspelled word in the dictionary
of life I am, without you, my beloved!" I really loved this! I've always found that your writings were wonderful places to find such jewels as this. I've missed reading your works while I was away from the Den. It's great to be home once more.

Your beautiful words spoke to me. *Have Mercy on me, My Love" is a gracefully written weave of love and passion.

Nothing misspelt or miscalculated about these words, Bhuwan. The ardent passion of a man couched within the succorous longing of a child. Melts the heart of both the lover and mother. A totally complementary write: all of a man touching all of a woman. Soul-bearing co-dependency portrayed with great beauty. Swooning! TY Kate xx Will write soon - so pleased to hear from you... I have been worrying... LOL and prayers. K xx
