O traitors, pluck not the petals of the liberty

Poem Artwork

Within the heart
of all beings
resides the liberty.
Liberty, which is
omnipresent,
is hidden in all beings.
It presides over all actions,
and all beings reside in it.

But to understand
what repression actually is,
and how it sheathes
the liberty
that is the highest
of all arts.
That is the highest
of all arts, my friend!

Oh! O traitors,
pluck not the
petals of the liberty
to worship the
deities of the tyranny.
Let the petals
remain in their serenity.
By plucking the petals
you rape the dreams
of the flower.
“ How will it live,
having lost its petals?”

“How will a mother live,
having lost her children?”
Tears of pain are flowing
from her core, towards the
shore less sea of the misery.
Who will ease her pain?
The cry of her suffocation
cannot sway the,
“ Amphisbaena’s goal”.

Let the tears come.
Let them wash her miseries.
Let them wash her miseries.

Go wind, go
and tell her that
the, “freedom,” doesn’t exist.
In the reality it is just a myth.
But freedom is worth pursuing,
it does convey a sense of dignity.

Speak mother-Speak,
whatever you have to say.
Be not afraid to puke the truth.
Truth will never fade away.

Few more days, my mother,
just a few more days-the days
of our separation are numbered.
In this land, we are destined
to live together evermore.

I wont give you
back to the butchers,
who have already
spent years
raping your core.

If freedom is not in store
for us- let it be so.
Let us only not err,
and be the marionette
of the, Amphisbaena.

You are a poet of the highest order, Bhuwan. It is in your spirit, as witnessed by your soul-stirring repetitions, which occur frequently in your work. You have driven right to the core of the essential need of human nature: to be sovereign of self. That is the epitome of what it means to experience freedom. Poverty is perhaps "lack of choice". If you are truly free, then you are the richest person alive! Always live in hope... no-one can take away the liberty you have on the inside, because that is directly under your control. Personal sovereignty and self-respect is the greatest lesson you can pass on to your children, for then they will be the "slave" of no man. Make their inner spirits strong, like yours, Braveheart! God is with you! Love and prayers, Kate xx

Unbelievable; some of the best I've read anywhere, anytime. You deserve an award for this one. You're metaphor of the mother earth to a mother and her child is sure to tug on the heartstrings; very powerful, poetic, prophetic.

Excellent insightful write my friend. Freedom is hard to fathom for those who do not know they are enslaved. We must never give up the idea of freedom. I shall carry it to my grave. Peace and love Bhuwan. Mikii
