Dear Bhuwan! Such an apt poem ... beautiful, beautiful Nepal.... at the foot of the sacred Himalayas ... what has happened? And, it was the safe haven of innocent Tibetans escaping the tyranny of China's clutches!
It's heartrending!! And, it's happening everywhere in insidious subtle, and not so subtle ways!!

A starkly profound write Bhuwan...how sad it is, that your words should speak so many truths about your homeland that can equally be applied around the world.
So tragic Bhuwan chaos and evil reigns everywhere. I wonder what is happening to mankind sometimes, and then at other times I think that we are hurtling towards extinction. Peace and blessings my friend and yes keep us focused. Love-n-luck Mikii.

How sad it is when humankind does not even take care of our own.
Know the Truth and Ye Shall Be set Free; the truth is we are a world imploding on ourselves; humanity is now an elusive ideal. Thanks for keeping us focused on the world around us.
You paint this so starkly, Bhuwan - and with the gorgeous black and white portrait as well. In the nation you speak of we can see the change and the travesty so clearly, beautifully, in fact. In our more high-tech countries, we are perhaps wallowing and sinking deeper into the mires of our own misguided values, feeling smugly like "we have it all", without realising the slow death of the soul and spirit we are most likely lapping up, along with our other favourite placebo poisons. If the soul of Nepal is bleeding, it is for the loss of her purity of spirit which is greater than anything material. I mourn for your people, and for the children of the world whose eyes are wide open to the horrors of ravishment adults are inflicting on their planet. May they be graciously and supernaturally blessed with a higher wisdom - I certainly know that YOURS are, Bhuwan, learning from your own deep resources of spirit and soul. Bhuwan, Never allow senseless death and unnecessary illness become something that is accepted as part of the daily ritual. It is so sad that the leaders should have so much and the people not even the necesary human comforts. Continue to raise your voice, for we change the world one person at a time. Your sadness and frustration screams from these powerful verses.
