I would like to share with you all this poem, “We are us,” which I have composed after the series of rows over the publication of cartoons depicting the prophet Muhammad. I hereby on behalf of the Authorsden, request all to resolve the cartoon conflict though dialogue and not through violence because an eye for an eye will make the whole world blind.
Wonderful message, Bhuwan, one we can all learn from! Very well done; bravo!

Nicely said. Sadly, those who should hear your wise words, will never find it in their hearts to read and comprehension is nil when kill and control is the ultimate goal. God is having a heart attack at the things done in His Name.
Insightful work, as always from you Bhuwan. But I don't see the madness changing any time soon. Let's hope our work stands as a tiny light, at least, in a crazy world.
Your wisdom, eloquence, grace and beauty are indeed God-breathed, Bhuwan. You are a Man after His own heart and a Child of His inspiration and creation. You lead by example and your words need to be heard. "An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind"... deaf, dumb and mutated as well... Indeed we need the ways of peace and not the sword; the sense of words and not the nonsense of warring. Bless you and so good to have you back and teaching us again. LOL and prayers, Kate xx
"I am, spiritual but religion I preach not." This is so true. Religion is nothing but a set of man-made rules. Connecting with God is something else entirely. Wonderful poem,Bhuwan.
Dear Bhuwan, your last verse says it all. It is time that mankind stop killing each other and mis using their alledged beliefs which have nothing to do with God. Peace, love, and blessings my dear friend. It is people like you that make the world a better place in spite of the evils surrounding us. We are you. Mikii
Hello there Bhuwam you are a beautiful poety as well. I'm glad you enjoyed my poem entitled "You Might Have Been." Thank you for your words of encouragement and I look forward to reviewing more of your work. Take care, simply rita
Is it religion or desperation.Misdirected anger in hopeless lives.Resentment againest those who have risen above ignorance. Those in power use ignorance and anger to control the masses and direct them againest the free world which threatens their existance. The next great war is fast developing between Christians and Muslims. The free world and those enslaved to a faith that appears to be controled by evil powers and thrives on violence. Not the product of Allah. Not preached in the Koran.Preached instead by evil tongues that distort the truth and mislead the innocent. You write the truth Andre but those that can not read are ignorant and blind to your words only hearing what is preached to them by those who entice them with promises of glory for shedding their own blood in destruction of their enemies. Here where life is so precious to them means nothing.Almost beyond our comprehension. Is a solution within mankinds grasp? I pray each night that it is. Luke

I agree, Bhuwan, and with a universe as big as ours, one would think that we could all have our own shining stars, without worrying about how many someone else had.
May your words not fall upon deaf ears, Bhuwan. The cartoons were wrong, but one person's stupidity should not be an excuse for violence and destruction of other people's posessions. If I had a dollar for everytime I have seen a picture of Jesus Christ being in a less than flattering position, I would hold in my hand many dollars. I accept those pictures as people's ignorance and nothing more. I live in a country where all relegions and philosophies are allowed and for the most part welcomed, perhaps that is why I feel as I do. The fact of the matter is, God, no matter what name we call Him, is not going to be harmed by a few cartoons. We are one people, one earth, in His eyes. Honoring Him does not include trashing the place where we live by rioting and in the process killing our neighbors. This is an excellent and much needed write.
Take care,
Sherry
In a post-coup America, an Illinois farm boy is drawn into the resistance by his brother's death. Captured, he is given a choice: betray his friends, or the girl he loves will be lobotomized.
Just as life during the pandemic was color-coded with different hues representing different levels of danger, life in its aftermath has become shaded in similar ways. As a self-styled “Seeker of Beauty with Beauty,” (borrowing from a quote by W.E.B.
