Come divine peace, come back to us
we need you more than you need us”

Poem Artwork

Along with his pallid hair, peace is hoary
But this emblem of humane sympathy
Knows no animosity since the eternity
He is old and loving all is his veracity

All his pain is concealed deep inside him
But still he is cottoning people’s backache
Since perversion of love is the renovation
For the annihilation of detestation to him

He opened his eyes in the internal darkness
Far away from the solitary ray of radiance
Darkness for him is merely a colossal vase
From where the light moves ahead and gaze

He then closed his lid, seeing violence beside him
And moaned God’s name loud and loud
This old peace is battling with death nowadays
Death trembles us but not this old mans heart

He is fighting for his life at the door of death
Death is strong but not as muscular as the fate
Of this old man, since even burly death fears
His light, which rises back even deceased to life

His soul resides in my core; my soul rests in his core
May be this is the reason why, I am feeling his sore
Subterranean inside my own castle of lonesome dome
God gift me a wish, I want to share his weighty sore

Those times we shared together flashes before my eyes
Every scene just floats and every voice presently echoes
We used to have so much fun in life without much strife
My best friend is ill now but will never wave him goodbye

He taught me what life is and how it should be lived
Listen my boy! He used to say: Love all and hate none
Then only you will be genuine man, the true son of God
For we are here to spread out love and not hate at any cost

He showed me the path and purified me with holy bath
I have only one wish in life, the yearn for being like him
But I will be happy, if only I be half as him till perpetuity
Since being like him is only a distance dream for a kid like me

His pain is severe and he is on the verge of life
Still he murmurs, the rules of curing the strife
God, revive this old man and make our world bright
don’t dim the light of our universe for we are still half blind

Very excellent compassionate write Bhuwan...I agree with Joseph Sherman...that scripture also says "in the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer I have overcome the world!" Peace of the world is an illusion, only God can give peace and this is where so many miss the truth, and all the confusion results. The peace God tells us to seek is found within Him not the world! With wisdom we learn this truth!

I am so sorry for your pain....
