When war starts,
Life ends and death begins
Light ends and shade prevails
Joy ends and despair begins
For war is the ravenous devil
Born to gulp the balmy blood
And dethrone the humanity
Into the itinerary of disgust
When war starts,
Serenity ends and brutality begins
Affluence ends and dearth prevails
Adore ends and dissension begins
For war is the repulsive venom
Born to obliterate the soul of life
And smolder the heart of love
In the furnace of perpetual strife
When war starts,
Veracity ends and deception begins
Independence ends and anarchy prevails
Appetite ends and starvation begins
For war is the storm of covetousness
Blown by the forest of ascendancy
That deracinates the seeds of love
And barrens the womb of mother Earth
But…
When war stops,
Death ends and life begins
Shade ends and light prevails
Despair ends and joy begins
For peace is the fountain of joy
That revives the snoozing heart
And enshrouds the rhythm of life
With the fragrance of divine love
When war stops,
Brutality ends and serenity begins
Dearth ends and affluence prevails
Dissension ends and adore begins
For peace is the saccharine nectar
Born to nourish the essence of life
And make this discernible Earth
A facsimile of eternal Paradise
When war stops,
Deception ends and veracity begins
Anarchy ends and independence prevails
Starvation ends and appetite begins
For peace is the zephyr of tranquility
Blown by the forest of generosity
That swirls and glides the dark clouds
Of abhorrence, remote from its territory

im reminded of a line by robert graves 'the sky presses down in war'
terrible truth. some excellent vocabulary written very expressively carries the poem & it´s ideals, i don´t know what will happen when war finally ends for the human race, it´s not my future, now i just say no & walk away.
There are poets who are so-so in creating canvases of word, some good, others quite good, still others with remarkable talent, yet others indeed great: but, there are a few who truly are magnificent-- both in the artistic craft as well as the precious messages they pen. I must, with clear conscience and in my most humble opinion, deem Bhuwan Thapaliya's work as magnificent.

Bhuwan: This is incredibly powerful and so true. You painted the portrait of the harsh reality of war, and then you went on to paint the beautiful picture of peace. Thank you so much for sharing this message of hope. I was extremely moved by it.

Excellent Bhuwan. We can only hope that someday mankind will live up to his promise and let peace prevail. How can we sanction fighting for peace. I shall never understand this but I share the dream of one day letting mother earth fully enjoy her children.
War is all of that. Your words ring so true/ To not wage war when there are those who wish you harm and impose upon you no alternative if you want to continue to live as free people, is also futile, very much so.
War is primitivism devoid of any purity, still sticking to inner being like the last glue to chaos. And peace would be growth and evolution... towards genesis. Utopian, but... why not believe Utopias can be possible? A powerful message, Bhuwan, beautifully written, as always from you.
Blessings,
~Alexandra~

A homonymless man writes shows what it's like to look up the laid he skirts when you’re lying prone(d) to the sidewalk, beer / joint / needle dangling from your hand /lips / arm.
