Hail! Life, I have lost the will to survive
parasites of dearth has perforated my mind
in the synthetic voyage of my barren life, and
like the phantom on the oasis of night, I wonder
petulantly, here and there sans any vibrant plan.
There is nothing more I can gain from eternal
strife and being alive is just an illusion, when you
discern not, life from death and death from life.
Me, who is about to die, salute you, with the
profane hands of mine; May be, the mighty
death would comfort me evermore from the
seasoned despondency of my shattered life.
Oh! Lord. I am leaving but there are millions,
who are residing in the domicile of poverty
hoping against the hope, lured by the transient
flicker of better tomorrow. Oh! Lord. As they are
breathing the tedious air of poverty, may they be
bestowed with the sturdy heart to digest the adversity

Masterfull expression. When the exploration of a "dead" planet gets more attention then the exploration of a "dying" planet and its people there is something very wrong with those making these plans. Maybe it is time for a change right here at home.
Bhuwan this piece tears at my heart thinking of callous humans when millions are hungry and starving it is ridiculous to look to another planet when man continues to defile mother earth and her children. I feel this and you as always. PEACE-LOVE & BLESSINGS MY BROTHER.

Bhuwan...I come from poverty....that is why I appreciate all that I have today....and I am compassionate to the needy...we truly do not do enough...there is so much suffering in this world...and ..as the saying goes...the rich get richer and the poor get poorer...I always wonder if it will ever change...I dont think so..Greed seems to be king in this world..your writing here tore at my heart...you go deep down inside of our feelings with your writing...clap clap for you...floria

I grew up in dire poverty, myself, Bhuwan.
There were 8 of us children who totally depended
on my father's ingenuity to keep us alive from
day to day.
It is sad that, in this system of things, too
many have to endure such. But relief is not far
away; not through the hands of inept government
officials, but through a benevolent God who will
shortly say: "Enough!"
Peace to you.
This is what I object to. Spend money here on Earth, Mars, doesn't take American Express.

Deep sorrows of human heart that wanted to find Justice.
I hope that before it is too late, we change the administration of corruption to administration of Justice, the way to greatness of Humanity, harmony of powers and dignity.
Happy Healthy Life, Poet!

superb poem Bhuwan.I have come to see things, sometimes those we consider poor, due to lack of shelter, and what we call riches, are more often than not far richer than we with all the trppings. We in the west consider ourselves rich because of what we own..and we arrogantly assume that those without such want it..I for one would give it all up for one ounce of the wealth found in so called'under privilged countries. But yes ALL man should have a roof over his head
I agree with your statement Bhuwan. I always favored space travel, but not when we know it's just a planet with dirt and stones, no need to spend billions on that while people on earth have such needs.
This is such an intense painful poem , but I understand Bhuwan!
'Better Without You'is a compelling narrative that explores the complexities of an affair, hidden secrets, and abuse. It also highlights a daughter's heartfelt journey as she cares for her mother who is battling dementia.
Another outstanding write from you, my friend. Bravo!
