I never knew that my life would turn out this way

Poem Artwork

              INTO THE ARMS OF DEATH

I never knew that my life would turn out this way

Many nights I’ll lay in bed, cry, and pray

I fell in love with a gently romantic guy

Who lifted me up and gave me a nature high

Every morning he’ll bring me a single red rose

After our first sexual encounter the demon was exposed

Late one night

He drove inside the cemetery and asked me to look around

These will be your neighbors if you ever try to leave me now

Those where his words that he spoke in a harsh tone

At that moment my life with him became in un safety zone

I made plenty of plans to secretly leave

But it never worked out I could never achieve

He beat me until I almost had a miscarriage

And then took me to the court house

And forced me into marriage

I continually to hold my breath hating that

I ran into the arms of death!

This is so sad, and far to usual. The man that first makes all your dreams come true and then turns the dream into a nightmare. I hope you can one day reak free, I know how hard it is. Take care.
