Oh, you must always care what happens to yourself! There isn't much wisdom in reckless abandonment of oneself...unless it's directed at God, it can be suicide! :)
The heart, unfortunately, is made for crushing, it's the mind, Nancy, that is your strength. Lift your heart with your mind, you are your heart. So, maybe you can see, your piece brings out the "mother hen" in me,..I have two girls under 12, I see, hope and fear for their well-being. And try to teach them to be their mind.
