God's little children with a life threatening illness
The sparkle in their eyes
A warm smile from ear to ear
A love anyone can share

Hair falling out
So much pain within
Their small framed bodies so fragile
The love they give

All this captures your heart
Doctors, nurses become your family
Parents and family members asking for help
Medical bills climbing daily

People from all around come together
They open their hearts and dig down deep
To give what ever they can to help that special child

Then one day you hear the most disturbing news
Parents and grandmother scam the people that care
Shaving her head
Drugs given to make her look sick

Giving her an illness only by name
Taking in thousands of heart given money
Dear Lord this child needs your help
For her to understand that she is not to blame

That she is being abused by those she adores
Abused by mommy, daddy and grandma
After all shes just a child
A healthy child that needs real love
