Aging

It's sad to watch your parents age The changes that take place Being healthy all their lives The body slowly wares out What once was a smooth outer surface Now is layers of wrinkles Once what was firm and flexible bodies Now withers to almost nothing Vision once 20/20 Now loosing sight in both eyes The mind once in control Now depends on others to help make their decisions Aches and pains persistant everyday Stricken with a life threatening illness Canes, walkers or even a wheel chair Just to help get around Once an independent adult Now reversing life going back as a child Nancy 01/29/2003
