Seems like yesterday
Sitting on the side of your bed
You had nowhere to go
You couldn't walk away
Years have passed since we talked
You know it was wrong
But that didn't matter to you
I didn't need you to think for me
I have a mind of my own
Not like the others who used you for their thinking
The hardest thing I had to do
Was pick up that phone and say "how are you feeling"
Silence was way to long
I thought for sure you would hang up
Your words as difficult as they were
You struggled behind your tears
Is this you Nanc I'm very weak
I was told I was the only call you took that day
Thats when I knew
It's time you listen and hear what I have to say
Harsh angry words of hurt
How could you be like this
We were all brought up the same way
Tears were flowing as you realized I was right
If only you would have listened five years ago
Your heart opened up as you ask for forgiveness
You had forgiveness a long time ago
For I hold no grudge I was just hurt
When you put your arms around me and kissed my cheek I knew then you are sincere
Today if you were here
Another birthday you would celebrate
But as we both know this day will never be
For your life here on earth ended on April 12th, 2001
I know your at a better place
A dear friend of mine has told me so
He even wrote a poem that gives me comfort
You need to know
Mom and dad are doing fine
I look in on them just as I have
They tell me they know your with them
It's the little things that happen since your gone
From all of us to you
"Happy Birthday" your sadly missed
Nancy

This is so sweet and sad, too. It may seem odd to say this poem is sweet, but it reflects many colours in its light and you do not reflect black at all in this. Exquisite writing, Nancy.

Oh, Nancy, I'm so sorry. I lost my sister on June 13, 2001 and I know how hard it is. My heart breaks for you. Beautiful job on such a sad subject.

I remember that day as if it was yesterday. He is with Jesus, smiling down on you all.
Oh Nance, this is a real tear jerker. My brother is passed and I thank God that we were on good terms, there are others in my family that have passed and the same doesn't hold true. To the 'one' Happy Birthday, I know that you are well.
Let this coming of age story of a boy named Bean take you back to a simple time. Set in a small southern town in the 1960's, encircled by a river and gleaming white cotton fields.
A wicked Cajun Fairy named Robes Pierre entered the impenetrable Magical doll land of Sha Bebe. Queen Faustina, the ruler of the doll land, thought she had destroyed him, but he's back! Will the doll land survive his evil ways?
