This poem touched me for My mom is also sick TOO, as we share with others we can find the ways to release our sorrows and pain, and help each other to overcome anything. A very excellent write.

Lean on me, when your not strong, and I'll be your friend, I'll help you carry on!
Who knows as it won't be long, till I'm gonna Need somebody to lean on!

You just call on me sister, if you need a hand, we all need somebody to lean on!
I just might have a problem that you'll understand, we all need somebody to lean on!

Sad, loving, heartbreaking words. I used to wonder why creation needed to be set up so that we had to have pain and suffering. Possibly because it gives us cause to take advantage of our "happy" times with more enthusiasm.
