Empress Dowager Cixi Took a morning walk in her Summer Palace Surprised to see me here Foreigner under her persimmon tree, Call the eunuchs! Ah, your Manchu headdress Is just ridiculous! Through the mist of Beijing Among the tall pine trees And grandfather trees Through the Moon Gate too soon Back to my own time. �� �
