It's wine o'clock in the evening,
the moon is shining clear and bright,
all here in the garden drinking,
glasses merrily clinking,
it's going to be a wonderful night!
So happy to be together again,
we've come through a long dry season
when everything seemed so dark.
Bottoms up! here's to a happy new year,
it's wine o'clock in my heart.
