It's a cold day in the Old Town,
the snow makes Gamla Stan a wonderland;
Look at that candle, look at that lantern,
look at that Christmas star in the window!
How about a coffee and piece of cake now?
I'm having a wonderful time!
Standing in the forest like a noble pine,
beside the lake and the stepping stones
a Summerhouse away from the crowds.
You're the face on a new album cover again,
another year passes, another milestone,
Merry Christmas, old town,
Merry Christmas, old girl!
