Out of the deepest darkness Steps one who is shining bright From my mysterious death A ray of revealing light. Her glory flows around her. She opens an outstretched hand The earth, it trembles and shakes. Presence - her silent command. A hawk takes flight from her palm. Flying circles overhead. Light, love, bring resurrection To my life that was mostly dead. My screaming demons take flight, Scattering ‘cross violent sky. Her presence, pow’r in my soul Like the hawk, my wings spread to fly. Lips touch mine, bring passionate life. Her soft, warm breath flows through me. Rhyming hearts beat in rhythm Gasping for more, my spirit floats free. Out of the deepest darkness Her glory flows around me. © 2010 Dayvid Graybill
